The United States of America is an amazing continent to travel. When you traveling east you will find the Appalachian Mountains (from Atlanta to Cape Gaspe in Canada). The central part consists of a number of parallel ridges which lie between broad valleys, the Valley and Ridge Region. In the central part of the United States lie the Rocky Mountains. There are huge prairies stretching from Ohio and Missouri in the east, through Illinois and Wisconson, Minnesota, Iowa and northern Missouri in the west.
